Do you actually know anything about the English and Welsh system?

The hell is a semaphore?

I dunno about the UK/US system but over here primary school is the equivalent of grades 1-6, Secondary school would be grades 7-10 and after that is junior college which is grades 11-12

Guess what? I don't have to go back to school!!! haha to all of you kids who still have to put up with school!

I'm glad you called it secondary school, I've noticed a lot of people are referring to it as high school nowadays. For some reason, it makes me annoyed. I think it's time I got a life.

Primary school - age 5-11, years 1-6, no real qualifications, you do SATs in year 6
Secondary school - age 11-16, years 7-11, SATs in year 9 (used for grouping for GCSEs), GCSEs over years 10+11
Sixth form/college - age 16-18, years 12-13, AS levels in year 12, A2 in year 13
University - age 18-21+ depending on course length

This is generalised, can be variations.

Just wait until you get a full-time job and start living in the REAL world! Where you work nine till five, five days a week, with no arbitrarily long holidays, and spend half of your paypacket on tax and other on rent and food.
You schoolpeoples are going to be in for a hell of a shock.

Technically I start classes tommorow. But I have been living in residence for the past 3 days. Second year in university so far has been even better than the first since now I actually have a huge group of friends scattered accross the city of London (ontario) which is perfect for getting around and going to various bars and house parties.

Like DemonWithin said. If you have a chance to stay in residence... Do it. I thought I would hate it last year when it was my first time but I ended up loving it 100%. I didn't love it for the partying and the drinking though (those were just optional bonuses for me), it was the atmosphere, the kinds of amazing friends you make, and the new level of freedom you get.

heh, was already doing that for most of the summer, sometimes even worked 7 days a week since I had two jobs. Just replace food and tax expenses with tuition and text books.

But that had an end, in which you start school again. After you leave school, it's work for the REST OF YOUR LIFE! NOOOOOOOOO!

CALM DOWN! Remember retirement? Come on you must enjoy daily bingo games and watching constant re-runs of your favorite TV shows?

Billy passed the 3rd grade.
Oh what a glorious day
Oh, passin third grade
The Billy Madison way-ee-ay!

I hated highschool. Going to class high and/or drunk was fun though. College > highschool. Well look on the bright side, now that you're a senior all the freshman and sohpmore girls will be all over you:D

 My schedule.

1) Pre Calculus
2) Multicultural Literature(in place of English)
3) AP U.S. Government
4) French 1-2
5) Physics 1-2
6) Psychology
7) Unscheduled( No Class)
8) Guitar 1-2

I'm on a block schedule... so some days i've got even days(even classes), other days i've got odd classes.

My Physics said we needed our own colored pencils. He said he had some... but people kept jacking them, he had said they only left the white ones, the white ones are useless.

^ that was funny. Because he's white and it sounded like a racial joke.
