a while ago i asked Gabe if he could send me anything that has to do with half-life2 and just today i open my mailbox and there is a cool looking envelope with a hl2 poster :P thanks valve, just thought you guys would like to see it. nothing big but still cool that valve would send it

I like the envelope just as much as I like the poster :cheers:

What does the bit underneath "With Eyes Open, Look Forward" say? Or is it just posting information.

Im not gonna tell everyone what I told Gabe to get it. I got mine on Saturday. It was postmarked on the 17th.

I need to figure out what to do to get the creases out of it.

It will go on my wall above my bed :)

im assuming ill get one w/ my collectors edition of HL2 that i will be spending more money on....<glances over in gabes direction making nudging gesture>
 
turn it over, put a thin cloth on top and iron it on low heat. (low/no steam)
 
Who should I send it to, Gabe? Anyways, sending an email asking for some poster and puting my address in it seems a little greedy lol, but I want the damn poster!
 
i have one of those, i got it off ebay about 4 months ago. it came from thailand.
 
Nows there is going to hundreds of e-mails going to Valve asking for free posters, eugh...

Why don't you download the artwork off the internet then get it printed at a Print shop? You can get that exact type of paper and it won't have creases and you will prolly get it for cheaper than some E-bay thing. USE YOUR HEAD PEOPLE....just look for the good copy on the net or E-mail Valve for the Jpg, Bmp, or what ever.
 
I got mine when I VISITED valve in January.
And if a hundred people are asking for posters, I bet they will just stop.
 
lol, I sent an email yesterday asking for a poster because I was jelous of the people that had them! Oh well, I'll just....*Eli crosses fingers* That gives me an idea, I'm gonna see if i can get a DOOM 3 or STALKER poster! oh oh oh oh oh! I'm gonna try to see if I can email the Doom 3 and Stalker teams...but I don't know their email address? Anyone know?

well, the poster is $11 (including shipping) on ebay, it wouldn't be that much cheaper to go to a Kinkos and get a poster printed, plus I live nowhere near the closest printshop that'll do that kind of work
 
I really feel sorry for the Valve Mail Servers at the moment... I can just see the spam logging up...
