Airsoft sounds fun, but why would anyone want/need to own a real gun unless they wanted to kill something, its not cool..

Hunting, sport shooting, defense, and an anti-government deterrent.

I'm fine with people who would rather not own them but support the right of others to, but there's something up when a group of people wants to disarm you for no reason.

Well, people like me own guns because we're into marksmenship, which is considered a sport. You know shooting targets and other things to see how accurate you are. It's fun to me but I guess people who doesn't know much about guns will think I just use my guns to kill stuff. I've never shot a living creature my whole life and refuse to go hunting.

Edit: Well there was this one time I shot something. I shot a rattlesnake with my BB gun when it kept trying to attack my dog.
