no, there isn't any "games on demand" crap... all u do is pop in your halo disc for example and it will begin to play like on a PC... but sum of the problems i already point out (that will probably fixed) is multi-disc games, DVD games (no big deal), really big games, and games that require patched to play online... i'm guessing a hard drive will contain auto-install sum games and save patches... but who knows...

Doesn't seem like a bad idea, it's not just another console, it's a more convient way to play PC games so you're not locked to just a computer. I'm betting it'll still have mouse and keyboard options, and if you have a nice TV it would probably be more fun to play on it then your PC if you had the right set up.

dont get viruses
arent bogged down by useless background apps (i.e better quality per lower hardware)
are cheaper
you can make a pc out of them ANYWAY in some cases
can be played in living room.

edit: after reading the article, that looks awesome.. you could pretty easily throw linux on their and have a reasonable pc/server. even though the C3 processor looks pretty junky.
