You can take good low light pictures without a flash, mate. Its the white balance.

Which can help you adequately set the picture to what she'd actually look like in those lighting conditions.


As for what happened to her avatar. She's possibly considering using my dancing cow. Everybody should have a dancing cow for their avatar. Seriously.

The pictures I took were without flash. The first one is pretty good but the second makes me look too white due to the many blue LEDs in my comp.

The majority of my pictures are without flash. Flash tends to make the pictures look amateur and the subject stands out way too much and the picture looks odd and less natural.
