Yep, I think so. Even though Sin Episodes: Emergence wasn't even close to give me the experience I got from Half-Life 2: Episode 1.

I don't know :/ I haven't really given Emergence a fair run through at all. I played it for about an hour and... well got bored. It hasn't grabbed me for a playthrough yet, so it grabbing me for the next installment seems less likely... but I may have just been too busy to play it at the time.

Don't know, the first was rather mediocre. It's possible that they can improve using this episodic release deal. I'll know when I see more details on it.

Having played a bit more, I think I'll be waiting on the reception of the next episode rather than pre-ordering it. Or perhaps picking up retail when it drops majorly in price. This game isn't bad, it just sure isn't that good. The reviews seem to be pretty accurate for SEp1, so I'll go on what they say for SEp2.

I played it for an hour and got bored too. It was simply ok. Then again any game where the main character's name is "Blade" is always going to be simply ok, at best.

For 20 dollars, the length was ok. But the story is bland and gameplay is pretty boring. I highly doubt I will be buying the next episode.

I enjoyed Emergence - good, clean, kill-y fun!

It ran slower on my system compared to HL2, but it was thoroughly playable. I will buy Episode 2... someday. I wont rush out and buy it - I have a backlog of games I want (and need) to buy: Oblivion, HL2: Episodes (I don't have 1 yet...;(), Dark Messiah when it's done, and others...

Sin: Episode 2 is on the list, just a bit further back... good job I'm planing to upgrade before then - I hope they'll smarten up the graphics a bit!
