"You have failed to connect..."

Anybody else getting this message whenever they try and join a server? The full message is: 'You have failed to connect. Please check your network connection(s) and try again.' Just about every time I try and connect to a server I get this. What makes this so annoying is that it doesn't happen every time. I could get it once, click 'join' again and connect. It's totally random and it's driving me crazy!! Any suggestions/comments/tips/advice/etc. would be appreciated.

Haha, just kidding...is this when your typing an IP or joining from the browser? If it is from the browser then IDK, if it is from "join by IP" then check IP and port.

Yeah, it only happens when I try and join an IP address.

Edit: Problem solved, I didn't have the port thingy. I left it as the default one. Mods, feel free to close/delete this thread.
