HAHAHA. you see my friend, i have a totaly brand new PC planned out for HL2, one that is not even goona have music on it or anything. its only goona be used for CS and hl2, and maybe DOD sometimes. god i love my brand new system, i dont have it yet, waiting for the final days for hl2 to come out so i can order all my parts and have a friend put it together.

someone please recommend a virus software for a n00b? i dont know any softer, i want somethign that installs and plays? (plugs and plays) ill put it on the new comp just in case. this one is wide open for attacks.

People say otherwise, but Norton Anti-virus is pretty good. It costs money but if you look around you can get it for a good deal. I got the OEM of Norton Systemworks 2003 for $20 at newegg. That includes Norton Antivirus.

Your PC looks good. You may want to check into a Athlon 64. Great bang for your buck if you can afford the more expensive memory.

im thinking if you have 5 fans plus a cpu and gpu fan, it may be time for water cooling.. and get water blocks for EVERYTHING! could wind up better and cheaper..

BTW about 1 or 2 times a year your can get an entire norton bundle for between 0-20 bucks!!

system looks solid other wise , i would rather an AMD^$ , but to each his own, nice pick on the PSU and monitor
