Didn't they have a chair like that in The Last King of Scotland? Didn't look very comforatble to me.
 
It's basically that your spine is shaped like a "C" instead of an "S", and also that your back muscles are completely relaxed. While drumming, at least you are working your legs and such. Plus you sit on a short bar stool kinda thing, which they said was better.

Mostly the office chair and the fact that you spend 8 hours a day in them compounds the problem.

I'm going to get a Lazy Boy recliner... and recline.
 
I never understood why he slept with that guy's wife, though.

Then again I hardly remember that movie at all.
