Ok, this is kinda a forum game but I'm gonna post it here anyway.

Just list the specs of your computer, and maybe comment/quote somebody else's specs if you want.
This thread isn't to brag about our 1337 Pc's, its just for...information. and bragging

Ill start off.
------------------------------
Type: Custom Built
Intel Core i7 920 CPU, V8 Heatsink
6GB DDR3 RAM
Dual Nvidia 9800 GTX+ Video cards in SLI
32 GB SSD for Windows OS
1.5 TB HDD for games and data storage.
Antec nine hundred case
750W Corsair Power Supply
Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit
:sniper:

HP Pavilion a1440n
Intel Pentium D
4GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia 8800GT
32 bit Win Vista Premium
250 GB HDD, plus 500GB external Western Digital HDD
550W Rosewell Power Supply
16x Lightscribe DVD burner

I've been adding here and there to it. Originally it came with 2GB of memory and had a Nvidia Geforce 7300LE Gfx card which was kinda bad imo. Also it only had a 300W power supply to begin with and Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 so for a few hundred extra I've kept it up to date.

Nice. How do you like the SSD?

Antec 900 Case
Intel CeleronD 3.33Ghz
XP Pro
Lite-On 44x DL DVD burner/eraser (fast as hell)
4 Sata, 2 EIDE, 2 E-SATA, 2 Backup E-SATA (10HDDs)
1GB RAM
X-Fi Music
Antec 500w
E Sata: Two Port card
Motorola WiFi

I had an X1900GT but it died. It sucked anyway.

If/When I get Windows 7, I'm getting a quad core processor, a new motherboard, a video card, and 2-4GB of RAM

I love it.

When I boot Windows Vista, when it goes to that *green bar going from left to right with the words "Microsoft Corporation" above it* screen, the green bar only has to cross 1.5 times.
Overall, it takes about 15 secs for my computer to boot-up. :D

colon-D.gif

I have to ask -- how much did that thing cost to build??

Main
-----------
Samsung 193p (19" LCD)
Intel Q9300
ATI 4850
Abit IP35 Pro
Corsair 4GB DDR2-800
Corsair VX550W PSU
Antec P180 case
Western Digital SE16 750GB
Western Digital RE2 750GB

Media PC
-----------
Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 (40" HDTV)
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Socket 754)
Nvidia 8500 GT
ASRock K8NF4G MicroATX
Corsair 1GB DDR-333
Antec SU-380 PSU
Antec NSK2400 case
Western Digital SE16 500GB
ATI 550 Pro TV Tuner
ATI 550 Pro TV Tuner

Last tower purchased:
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 GO 2.40GHz Quad Core CPU Overclocked to 3.00GHz
- Abit IP35-Pro XE Intel P35 (Socket LGA775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
- 4GB PC2-8500(Overclocked at 1000MHz+)
- 500GB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive
- ATi Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3
- Pioneer DVR-216DBK 20x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black)
- Corsair TX 650W Power Supply
- Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

Holdovers from old PCs
- Monitor: 17" Viewsonic VP171s 1280x1024 native (got this right at the beginning of the LCD rush and was blown away. Decent monitor for its time, but it's turning into a bottleneck for the rest of the system).
- Speakers: 4.1 Cambridge Soundworks Surround. (To give you some idea how long these have been knocking around, they were bundled with Unreal and a Soundblaster Live card).
- Mouse: Logitech Mx 510
- Keyboard: Logitech UltraX Media

Upgrade Plan:
- My Linksys wireless card has given me shoddy connection ever since I first got it, think I may as well get another...
- 23"+ LCD screen capable of 1080i resolution
- BluRay Drive (Because how will I watch Sleeping Beauty otherwise? Once the guy with the PS3 is gone I mean :p)
- Second HD 4850... or a 4850x2. For Crossfire purposes. (The plan is to wait until they're obsolete and cheap of course.)
- Dedicated Sound-Card and decent speakers... well yeah. Some audiophile is going to tell me my PC is rubbish for not having had this stuff years ago, but honestly, I think my ears are just bad. I'm the kind of person who can't honestly tell you the difference between 128kbps and 320kbps encoded MP3s when you force your £100 cans over my oversized ears. Not a sound-bothered person.

edit: Also have a junk PC I'm working on turning into a 'party PC' the house can dump their MP3s on, put a few emulated games on, Ultrastar deluxe, that kind of thing. The HDD is a little knackered. Not exactly huge either.
