ITT we post videos that we think are badass including cars.

Please, leave the "street racing is for idiots" talk at the door. We know/don't care, we just want to share some videos.

Now it doesn't have to be you, obviously...just something you enjoy watching.

Skip the first 6-6.5 minutes. Really, it's all about the body/engine stuff, so the awesome stuff kicks in after that D:

Wow, look at that front end raise! :O

How fast do you think he was going at the end there?

that was really nice...i suck with mazda models but what kind of mazda was that?

im a huge fan of the 2nd generation prelude..especially the interior design of the dashboard...i think more cars should mimic the design of the dashboard in their vehicles because it looks so damn bad ass.

and this vw golf gti w12 looks freaking amazing..but apparently it doesn't handle well. I'd love for them to actually put this car into production but it won;t happen :(

Oh dear god, in order to drift properly, you gotta overstear/understear/stop accelerating all at perfect times in order to drift properly. Otherwise you'll spin out, or be like the 16 year olds in their 1993 grand am doing circles in a parking lot. Drifting takes a bunch of skill, and anybody who argues, has never tried to properly drift :p

And when you do drift properly, it's one of the most fun things you can do in a car :p

*drool* 4rotor

*snip*

Drift Works 3- my favorite drifting compilation.

And before you trash drifting as being lame, it take a lot of technical skill and car control to be able to drift. **** Nascar.

Anyone care to tell me what's going on this video? Are there actual drifting events where spectators come to watch drifters compete?

How do you win? Style points or is it actual drift racing?

It's all kinds of awesome, that much I do know.

Pitz, you disappoint me...you seriously call yourself a rotary fan and still haven't posted this?:

I'm not much of a rotary fan, but 750 HP + only Japanese car to win Le Mans + got rotary engines banned from Le Mans + awesome looks + awesome sound = Not even the world's biggest V8 musclehead can argue.

Mercedeses sound damn nice once you remove/replace those pesky mufflers:

Yes, it is a spectator sport. It's not racing. It's mostly for style. Drifters get points based on their drift angle, how long they can hold a drift, how close to the apex of a corner the get, and other things.

I was actually going to post that now, See, I want to saturate the thread in different parts, not all in one spot! :)

Yeah, that car is amazing. I just love reading about the rotary in Le Mans. They had to change its category COMPLETELY. GG.

^ Oh god, my face was doing a ":O" face the whole time.

Is that the same song as GhostBusters?!
Yes it is. I hate you rap, worthless ****ers.

V8 ftw I've never seen a rotary or a 4-banger run a 4.5

I haven't yet either, but the fact a 2.6 liter rotary engine does it in sub 10 seconds. as soon as I see a Rotary get up to 5 liters, I'll let you know how fast it gets to the moon ;)

*what am I doing? A double post!? Damnit.
