By "Game Site" I mean FAQ, Walkthrough, Forum, Info, Cheat, and Review site for games. You don't have to list all of these, though.

FAQ - Gamefaqs.com - There are so much faqs for games, sometimes you get too much info.

Walkthrough - visualwalkthroughs.com - Walkthroughs with screenshots, as far as I can tell it hasn't been done, and I really like the walkthroughs on this site, for the most part they aren't just "Go here, do that." but the ones on this site have some humor in them, too. too bad there aren't more, but atleast they are still making them, the SS2 one was just put up last week, I think. I own most of the games they've got here, so thats probably why I like it alot.

Forum - Halflife2.net/forums - Every other game forum I go to is always basicly dead.. The only forum I go to where you'll get a reply within a few hours is here.

Info/Cheat - Gamerevolution.com - I've been going here since 1998, I love this site, it has lots of stuff, but I mostly just go for the info and cheats here.

Review
- ign.com - I always go here for reviews, It's, in my opinion, a really good site for reviews, I even read reviews for game I already own on this site.

Halflife2.net ftw, and I don't trust review sites really so I don't read IGN or Gamespot usually

FAQ - Google tbh. Although if I HAD to pick a single site, tweakguides.com is ace.

Walkthrough - Googleing to find fanbased forums with guides. Nothing beats forum guides.

Forum - Halflife2.net/forums

Info/Cheat - Google...

Review
- Most of my reviews come from CGW which is now Games For windows, and EGM, so I suppose 1up.com would be the site.

Halflife2.net ftw, and I don't trust review sites really so I don't read IGN or Gamespot usually

I never ever buy games based on reviews either, I just enjoy reading reviews, even for games I never intend on buying.. Atleast I'm reading something, because game reviews is all I really read..

This one - kind of a given, although I don't check the main page nearly as regularly as the boards.

I usually use IGN for news, screenies and some videos. But gametrailers.com when I wanna get them higher res without paying. Filefront for files. Gamerankings.com to get a good range of reviews for games - although many times I find myself agreeing with IGN's reviews. Think that's it.

shacknews is great. I visit many sites for forums, here, rage3d, nvnews, gamespot and a few other game specific sites.

walkthough: google.com
cheats: google.com

For mainstream news and reviews I regularly visit 1up, ActionTrip, Eurogamer and GameTrailers.

For my indie fix I browse Independant Gaming and Gamespy's Download This!

I also enjoy the occasional podcast, VGM Daily being my favourite, although I also listen to the podcasts hosted at 1up every now and then.

As for gaming forums, unless I want to discuss a specific game (in which case I'll just google for an official or fan site) Hallife2.net's gaming forum really is the only place I've been able to find where the discussions are ongoing and relevant. GJ HL2.net

Was wondering if somebody could give me a link to the RSS feed on Shacknews.com.

I'd like to subscribe, but I can't find a direct link to it, other than the one that firefox gives me (which I sadly can't copy and paste into thunderbird).

I only visit HL2.net..and follow the links posted in here :\

I have to agree. Among other forums I frequent, the General Games forum here is full of up to date and switched on gamer peoples, which is why I keep scanning it for news and links. Forums in general are a better place to learn details about games, especially forums dedicated to established works of art like HL2, whereas dedicated game sites usually have biased reviews and opinions intent on inflating the value of a product. I find them useful only for downloading screenies and videos - fileplanet and google being my main providers for those.

In short I trust gamers for accurate news more than I trust hawkers and pedlars.

gametab for all my news

shacknews for community ..there's always inside information as a lot of the community has ties to various industries including developers programmers and artists

Hl2.net - best forums because it's a one stop shop for everything from gaming to politics
