Your first game ever

Hard to say. Think it was a Pacman clone.

I don't remember, but my dad used to have a sweet DOS machine set up in the outside garage at our old house.

It was a really tricked out garage though, carpeting... wallpaper... ceiling fan... windows... shelves all around stocked with programming books and just books in general along with game boxes.
And to the left was a long desk with 4 computers for different tasks, all I remember is the one on the far right end of the table was made for gaming.
He had Wolf 3D, Doom, Quake, Commander Keen, and all sorts of demo CDs he used to get from Computer Shows downtown.

That was the good life... I think I was about 5 or 6.
Unfortunately though, we lost nearly all of that when we moved... I think we probably moved about 3 times.

I still have my old Wolf 3D Spear of Destiny box along with the receipt though, and the diskettes.
And I still have my Doom 1 + 2 diskettes.

First time ever exposed to the concept of a, "video game": At a cousins's house. He was playing Super Mario Bros. Goddamnit, I rue the day. I could've been successful by now if not for this fateful moment. I was probably three or four years old then and I was on my way with my aunt to pre-school.

First console: NES or Nintendo Entertainment System. Launch date: 1984 (Also my birthday year) After watching my cousin play that day, no sooner did I get a NES that very Christmas. :D

First "game pak" <(NES cartridge): Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt. (You know it!)

First sequel: Zelda II

First PC game: Treasure Mountain (On a Win 3.x/DOS system)

Operation Wolf on some sort of Amstrad computer, I think. Actually, it was an Amiga.

Xenobots, Dune 2, One Must Fall or DooM. Or Slipstream 5000. Definitely one of those though

I had played lots of games before I had my first system (Atari STE), Pong, Pacman, Mario Bros etc etc etc.

My first "proper" game was a small title called "Prof" on the Atari. Operation Wolf was awesome.

I also played a lot of Wizball, Midnight Resistance and Last Ninja.

Probably sonic the hedgehog on the megadrive....
Wait... it might have been mario bros on the NES

First ones were Buck Rogers and Donkey Kong on the Commodore 64.

Then Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Wolf 3D, Doom 1 and 2, and Command and Conquer on our 486.

For a console it would probably be either Superfrog on the Atari, or Mario Bros./Duck hunt on the NES.

For PC it was either Wolfenstein 3D, or Doom--both of which scared the crap out of me when I was younger, until I could kick enemy ass.
Then I got some CD with cool shareware games on (IIRC though they were the full games) and it had things like Cosmo, Commander Keen, and stuff on there. Those were awesome.

Either Space Invaders or Dangerous Dave In The Haunted Mansion (which was damn scary for me back then), both on the PC.

I really don't remember my 1st 1st game. But it was on Nintendo. Probably Mario and Tetris.

The legendary pile of shit - E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, for the legendary Atari 2600.

This would be only the beginning of many disappointments in video game purchasing that changed me into the non game buying, disgruntled man I am today.

I can't really remember but i THINK it was the first Mario Bros on one of the very first Gameboys

Now I remember... it was a game called Treehouse for MS DOS.

You could draw, play music, explore the area... everything was interactive and it had tons of mini-games and stuff.
So fun... :(

Oh man Lucid, I used to have a Thinkin' Things CD. I played it so much, it was SO AWESOME

I think for me it was either Fun House or Tuneland when I was about four or five!

Sonic the Hedgehog ON PC, didn't even play the Sega version until years later

I think mine was some cookie monster game on the Atari.
Might have been some other game though, but I can't remember what they all were. Was an Atari game though.

On reflection my favourite early game was the Zoombinis. That was an amazing game.

Probably Spear of Destiny. Damn that game was EPIC.

This is Nibbles, I'm pretty sure it is the first one I played, it was released in ~ 1990. It had 2 player so I'd play that with my brother.
Gorillas_screenshot.png

And this is Gorillas which I'm pretty sure is the second game I ever played, it's from ~ 1991 I believe. It also had 2 player that was tons of fun.

first game i ever played was sonic the hedgehog on the mega drive

first game i ever played on the pc was either the shareware version of doom or blake stone. i can't remember though

Super Mario World. Got it with a Super Nintendo for Christmas probably when I was like 3 or 4.

Asteroids D:

...or maybe it was pac man...or this army game on the original nes. The one with the huge ass cartriges that were as big as a dinner plate
