I played through the test chamber and didn't realize anything someone else hasn't done here. However, i found an interesting piece of dialog.

Scientist 1 - "What is he doing in there?"
Scientist 2 - "Nothing you should need to worry about, Gordon."

If you think about it, it sounds weird. "In there" is probably the test chamber.
If they meant Gordon, Scientist 2 would probably not have told him not to worry, right?

If i'm correct, someone else was in the test chamber. And since i only know of one person that has the ability to turn invisible to some - the G-Man was inside the test chamber. And the scientist recognized him.

How bizarre. The moment I opened up this thread and saw that nuclear explosions, Kitty from That '70s Show screams out, "It's the A-Bomb, duck and cover!"

Like literally the exact moment I lay my eyes upon it.

I have a fairly new NVIDIA Geforce FX 5200 128mg... am I going to have a problem? I've been waiting for HL2 for years and I want to be sure I can run it in all, or at least a lot of, its graphical glory.

I was replying to someone on the help forum. Funnily enough, no-one else posted after that. Either the OP had already worked out what to do and I'd come in too late OR they didn't want to trust a newbie. But, come to think of i, I don't think anyone has actually acted on any advice I have given. I have no idea why that would be, but maybe I should stop advising people. I realise now that I am starting to ramble so I will shut up.
 
I actually killed the gunships first, then dealt with the core. Was there a time limit?

The reason for u ending up in city 17 is becuz Breen hired you (im only guessing) you see, when ur in the capture casket thingy with the others(alxy and Eli)he says something abouth the highest bidder or so...i am guessing he against the rebellion tried to hire you. He won by bidding higher than the rebellion. In the first chapter point insertion, theres a cam at the gate capture takin a photo of u. And when ur runnin away frm the CPs thes a voice saying miscount or smthing at nova prspket. barney said u were about to board the train to nova prospekt. As we know Nova prospekt is a place where they make stalkers and get new ppl to join the combine.

My belive is that Breen hired you for the combine but Barney showed up and stuff... anyway about the time thingy, i met a vortigaunt in a pipe after you defeat the heli and go into the barn theres a pipe some whre outside the hill.around the cliff walls inside. He said there is not much of a time shift, Freeman is still in the same time but in a different dimension.

That is true. I've seen hundreds of people in the members list who joined years ago and haven't had a single post. But what is the point of joining a forum and then never posting once? WHAT IS THE POINT???!!! It's ridiculous!!!
