How did you end up here....?

Post your online gaming history. (in chron. order, games over 48 hours of total gaming time)

Quake 2
-- CTF
-- Chase the chicken

Settlers 3

Half-Life
-- TFC ( all versioins )
-- CS ( early alpha's and beta's. also 1.6 )
-- DOD ( all versions )

bf42 (I h8 this game now)
-- DC

Just recently, I have been playing cs 1.6 over steam. Not much else doing. I am looking foward to hl2 and its mods. :D
 
I'm just into single player at the mo. Need a break from all the noobness >_<
 
Online hey?

Well I think it was something like this:

-1999 summer HL DM
-2000 Counterstrike 7.1 / Science&Industry
-2001 DoD
-2002 BF1942 (and later RtR, DC)
-2003 January CS 1.6 / Natural Selection

Right now I've got DoD NS CS DC EoD RtR and Interstate82. I mainly play CS and I82.

Four years of CS behind me and I still "sux0rz" :)
 
-- Halflife:Blue Shit (shift*)
-- Halflife Generations (i think it was 3rd edition)
-- Counter-Strike (lagged as hell so u uninstalled it)
-- New Computer :p
-- Counter-Strike (right now im scripting and playing 1.6)
-- Scripting for 1.6 :p
-- TFC (Steam version (no idea wich version))
-- Americas Army

And im thinking about beginning to play DoD

-1988 : eg Stackaboo, Paratrooper, and Sopwith. (You've got to start early) :)
1988 : Captain Comic (only 5 years old)
1988-1998 : Various games.
1998 : Half-life.
1998-2003 : Various games.
2003 : Soon... HL2.

It will be a long list, covering a while before 1998, but if you want it Ill give it.
 
The online gaming history before 0 B.Q isnt that much to speak of :)
Personally, I didnt get my broadband until 2 years ago, so I havent played much online before that. Modems have minute costs here, I would have paid like $500 a month :p
HLDM is the first real online gaming I did. But it didnt kick in until DoD (never fancied CS, not even from the start). Then BF1942 took up all my online gaming time, and that's about it :)

so true. I am 24 years old, and have been playing online since the age of 15 and I am still shit. :(

I am good at DOD and thats about it. :(
 
^^ So that means you started playing online games in 1994? who are you kidding. You said you started with Quake 2, sorry buddy but that came in 1998.

1997. So I was 17. ho hum. I have noticed that you are part of the 1 in 10 on the internet that actually reads posts, I shall I have to watch what I am typing from now on.
 
Oh did you mean ONLINE gaming road map? If so, I retract the n00b statement. 1996/1997 was when I started too.

First-I played QUake 3-I got hooked on it-it changed me 4ever. Then I started to look for more since it was Quake 3!. So, I looked for Quake 2 etc... Then a friend let me barrow Unreal. I didn't know what the hell Half-Life was, until my school had a book-order form, on the game section-there was Blue-Shift, I thought Half-Life was one of those shitty games. But it wasn't. Then I played Unreal Tournament-I got hooked on.

I didn't know that the N64 supported TCP/IP...

But did you know it supported 4 controllers, hence making multiplayer an option? On or offline, MP is MP. Stop trolling.
