So I'm looking at my Scrubs Season 1 DVD with an urge to watch it again and I realised that I must have watched it an unhealthy number of times.

Which got me thinking what TV episode and Movie have I seen the most? I'll never know for sure but I can narrow it down

TV - one of
Scrubs - Season 1 (one or more eps)
Futurama - "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" or one of the early eps
Farscape - One of the early eps or one of it's epic multipart episodes
Stargate SG-1 - "Window of Opportunity"

Movies - one of
Star Trek: First Contact
The Shawshank Redemption
Serenity

Batman Begins
Boondocks Saints
The Office: Season 3
Dick in a Box - SNL

TV: maybe the Simpsons episode with Mulder and Scully.

Movies: Willow, The 3 Amigos, The Princess Bride, Labyrinth - childhood-tastic!

I've watched season 1/2 of Quantum Leap a billion times. fact.

Movies:
Doctor Strange love
American Psycho
Golden Eye
Terminator 2

TV Shows:
Married with Children
Star Trek Voyager
Malcolm in the Middle

Monty Python and The Holy Grail

Waaaaaay too many times

I'm having a hard time thinking of anything for TV. It's probably Care Bears. I only collect DVDs of old cartoon series, and those're the ones that get played the most.

Movies, Transformers (1986). There has never been a period of time for the past 22 years when I have gone three weeks without watching this movie at least once. I need it to live.

Season 1 of Green Wing and all of Black Books. So rewatchable.

It's got to be a Simpsons episode, even though I didn't watch the show between the BBC's loss of the show to Channel 4 (in the UK obviously) and getting the sixth DVD about two years ago (I've not seen much beyond season 10, looking forward to the 11th DVD coming out... and coming down in price).

Episodes like "Cape Feare", "$pringfield" and "Itchy and Scratchy Land" probably edge the others out because I owned them on VHS 'back in the day'. Also, because they're f***ing awesome. The distinction is pretty accademic though. I must have seen everything between seasons 4 and 9 over a hundred times each (the one exception being 'The City of New York Vs Homer Simpson', which was never aired on the BBC AFAIK).

"We'll take the spruce moose! Hop in!"

Most watched movie - Aliens.

Most watched movie - Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade

TV Show - I've rewatched Firefly countless times.

Monty Python and The Holy Grail

Waaaaaay too many times

agree...i've watched it at least 4 times. or more

strangely i've watched the doom movie quite alot...maybe 3 times.

can't really remember any others right now, but i think the dead series were quite often on the list.

Film: It's a tough call between Blade Runner and Goodfellas. I've probably seen them each over 30 times. Honourable mention goes to Once upon a time in the West as well, which is Sergio Leone's masterpiece. I watched that enough to come to the conclusion that Claudia Cardinale (in her day) was about the finest looking woman to grace this planet. ;)

TV: I don't tend to rewatch TV too much but Deadwood, The Wire, Mad Men and LOST are often thrown on again if I'm in the mood. The last episode of the first Season of Deadwood is probably one of the finest hours of TV your ever likely to watch imho.

I have seen The Dark Knight a grand total of 7 times, 3 of which were in IMAX.

Fact.

Lately for me it's been Scrubs and Torchwood. I've been watching series 2 of Torchwood over and over and over and over and over and over...... *repeats the word over about 100 more times*
.....and over again. I can't wait to get the series 1 boxset for my birthday because I've only watched that once. I'm getting series 2 as well but I probably won't want to watch that again too soon because I've been watching it sooooo much lately!!!

TV . Flight of the Conchords
Film . Starship Troopers or Black Hawk Down

I always have to watch The Shawshank Redemption, Forest Gump, and Oh Brother Where Art Thou if they happen to be on TV. I've probably seen Forest Gump the most, or at least the last half of it.

Probably Jurassic Park for me too. Except when I watch it, I always end up watching the trilogy. So its a three way tie.

As for TV show, Its either The Office, or Futurama. Ive watched and rewatched each season of both shows so many times that ive lost count. Although Firefly is quickly catching up, im halfway through whats probably my fourth viewing of the series.

EDIT: Actually, I think I may have watched Gladiator more times than Jurassic Park, its hard to say.

Let's just say I've been watching Scrubs for the longest time, and about a little over a week ago, I acquired all the seasons. I watched all of season one the past three days. I'm currently on season 2. I ****ing love this show. I mean I always liked it a ****ing lot, but just having every episode at hand is unreal because the quality of the show is so, so good.

Other than Scrubs, I'd have to say Kyle XY and Psych. Oh, and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I can't tell you how many times I've seen every episode of it. My brother got me hooked back when I was a wee tyke, and I've loved it ever since hence my long run of Willard Christopher Smith Jr. avatars.

For movies, I've probably watched the Back to the Future trilogy over 1000 times. I'm not lying. I've been in love with those movies since birth. They are my movies. Ask any of my friends or my family and they'll tell you that BTTF 1-3 have been viewed by me more than Ron Jeremy's been in pornos.

Movie: Fight Club
TV: Firefly, Band of Brothers, Planet Earth

Film: I've watched Saving Private Ryan a **** load of times, usually all the way through or just for individual scenes when I've got a quick snack on the go or something. Saying that, I haven't watched it for a while but for the 3 years or so I've owned the DVD, I've watched it a lot. Other films that spring to mind are A Bridge Too Far, The Great Escape, 28 Days Later and Aliens. I can never bore of watching Aliens. Aliens is the ultimate 5 in the morning party-dying down film because it's just so badass. Many quotes, too.

TV: I think Band of Brothers is my most watched boxset. Again, it's one of those shows I could never get bored of. I love things like Sopranos and Lost but I only ever watch them like months apart, but with BOB I can just hop in and watch any episode at any time. Notable episodes include Curahee, Carentan and The Breaking Point.

Dunno what movie.

But for TV show, definitely Arrested Development. I must have seen every episode 20 times or more.

Movie: Termiantor 2

TV: Stargate SG1

I actually have no idea what film but my tv series would be:

House M.D.
Mock the Week
Code Geass (now finished)

Mock the Week
"My My, that George Bush has been in the news a lot recently".

For me, this would be 'most watched' as in 'I've seen as much as I'll ever need to'. I know this is hardly a critique thread, but please please please, not Mock the Week. Anything but Mock the Week. Vegetarians have a better sense of humour.
