Lately I've been disgusted just how cruel and homophobic our society has become against gays and lesbians-well, mostly just gays.
i mean, i turn on the tv and see some sitcom or whatever making some joke about gays, and thats not even that bad. just listening to people talk and joking around with things like "queer, fudge-packer, fag" really are getting out of hand

now im NOT gay, but i do know a few people who are, and they're perfectly normal and some of the nicest people i know

and another thing: why doesnt anybody realize that the bush administration has only been using the "problem" of same sex marraige as a distraction from the real problems?

how can anybody be bothered by same sex marriage? why are people so bothered by a gay couple moving in down the street or whatever? they're not hurting anyone. they're not trying to convert you or anything. if it truly bothers you or against your religion in anyway, just don't talk to them. they arent going to force you into a gay bar anytime soon.

I have a close friend who is bi, I don't really care what he does with his penis during the lonely nights. If he prefers taking another man's penis up his own anus then be my guest. I don't think homosexuality is normal however, in short I think it arises often from a combination of brain differences, hormones and upbringing within the individual. Whether it should be "fixed" with drugs or other methods, or accepted is something I don't know. People shouldn't be condemned for it though.

I kind of feel that it's wrong to be attracted to someone of the same sex, because it's just not natural, and not the way we were meant to be...
But it's not like I'd hate someone just because they're gay, and I wouldn't treat them any different.

I've never had a problem with it, seems perfectly normal to me, and all the arguments against it seem illogical, irrational, outdated, biased, and/or religious. As for the parades and all that- I dislike ALL pride-based stuff. I mean, we should be proud of what we've done, what we've accomplished, not something we have no control over. Also, I thought medical care in the US was private? Or is HIV treatment a nationalised industry? I've read that (in this country at least) the majority of HIV cases have been hetrosexuals contracting the virus abroad.

No problem at all with them or any other 'deviant' (if you want to call it so) sexual practice (between consenting adults, or at the very least consenting peers).
