Yes, but 1 hour light depends alot from norrsken, the moon and if it's cloudy. The sun never rise, it just lights everything up a small bit. You still can't see more then ~100 meters during that period.
 
Got a lot of Nordic Light up there Moppe? Yeah, me too. But we here in Skåne got three hours day on Chrismas. You must have total darkness the 24/12, right?

I've been traveling around for the last 17 months.
Mostly for the experience, but also for learning.

I've been in Florida, for a hurricane. In India, to learn Yoga.
To Sahara, Antartica and Mt. Everest.
I've had alot of great friends and memories during this.

Soon I'm home. :)

Why not? Most people from on this site are from Europe, and the US. Considering the white to other ratio of those countries, and the cultural social things associated with the different people groups(Lots of pasty white gamers :p)...I wouldn't think it was so surprising.

It just suprised me is all. I'm in the majority (supposedly) in England (namley White, Male, 20 - 35) and at both Work and University I'm in the minority.
 
Well it depends where you live I suppose. This town I'm in, whites are deffinately the majority, with few "ethnic" families. There are a number of chinese people, but thats about it. However, in the next town there are many many more Indian people, and then in the town just the other way there are a lot of people from Bangladesh.

Well I live in the North of England (Huddersfield). I'd say the ethnicities are pretty diverse, but it just turns out that everywhere I am theres more of other ethnicities than my own (which is why I was so shocked with the poll result).

For example at university for every 1 white person like myself theres 5/8 non-white people (and if you don't believe me ask Pobz).

That's just the computing block to be honest, because the non-white people like to do things like Business&IT ... but Huddersfield is one of them very ethnic towns/cities.

I feel like an ethnic minority at uni (common room + computer labs), and i'm white for gods sake.

Mostly white (pakeha), but I have a bit of Maori heritage.

Edit - I've always been this white, but mostly cause I never got any sun. And I only have like 3400 posts, so ha!

It's like that all through Vic Uni at Footscray here in Melbourne... you walk down a corridor and hear six different languages... none of them English...

I am "white"...Interestingly, I checked my family tree and its quite something(Well, I thought it was cool) :D In the most basic terms, on my dads side of there family there are strong "viking" and Scot links. On my mums side, I have Irish, and Spanish ancestory :O. Who would have thought it eh...Not that you can tell...closest I ever got to looking spanish was summer a year ago where I was camping for a week and my skin went brown...Its never really gone brown before, its just kind of looked slightly less white :)
