More than I try and spend on a graphic novel but now that I have a job I have some tasty disposable income and the hardback book is presented so nicely that it's a very worthy process. Will be reading this for years to come thanks to the art and the fantastic story. Probably my second favourite Batman GN just after Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth.

Was a toss up between the nice UK cover (which shares the art-style of the above cover) and the cheaper, film tie-in cover. I'd rather spend slightly more for some awesome Dave McKean art than a film cover any day. I hate books that use film stills on the original novel.

2GB memory card for my phone, a copy of the really rare My Neighbour Totoro soundtrack (Most copies are sold for at least twenty quid; I bought mine for £6.48 including postage from eBay and there was only one copy. I've seen some places sell it for over a hundred quid!), a couple of drinks and some toilettrie stuff.

I bought some clothes today from my place of work. **** yeah for Employee discount and **** yeah for gift cards! Ended ~150$ worth of merch went to ~60$ with my discount then I had our employee coupon which went to ~40$ and then I had two gift cards which brought it to 7.86$.
