ya, I really wanted to hit 2.5+ too, but I cant get over 2.4 even with vcore at 2.2v. but as I mentinoed, it took 2v of vcore just to hit 2.4.

next thing after all that in the distant distant future, would be a new monitor, my NEC multisync fe700+ doesnt cut it any more, and its giving me problems, so a nice 19" would be great.

heres my dinky little gaming comp i built about a year ago:

Athlon XP 1600+(thinking of buying a new motherboard + P4 2.8ghz)
384mb DDR RAM(upgrading to 512mb hopefully before HL2 comes out)
Geforce 4 MX440(i know this is the crappiest card EVER built, but im buying a Radeon 9600 pro 256mb before HL2 comes out, then i may buy a Radeon 9800 Pro 256mb or a 9800XT 256mb later on)
Soundblaster Live! Gamer 5.1 Dolby Digital(i dont think i really need to get a better soundcard since i only use 2 speakers/headphones)

overclocking is it, the performance to price ratio is great, plus its exciting to get a new piece of hardware and push it to its limits

So then the person with the faster base chip overclocks and blows yours away? Whats so crazy about that?
