4.The Jimi Hendrix Experience
5.The Undertones

Ehhhh Blink 182 is punk, and greenday is punk .

I would describe those bands as pop-punk. If you want Punk, try The Clash or Rancid.

no they arent. they're pop-punk, which is somewhat of an oxymoron.

rancid isn't really too punk anymore either, but they are way more than any of those.

waiting to see how velvet revolvers album is, but the money cover was awsome

They're obviously going to be there, they're a form of punk....just not true punk. But then again, nothing is anymore. It's all been split up into forms of what it used to be. Note that I'm talking about the genre of music, not the ideal...

[EDIT]

Yeah my favorite :D
Do you know anything about the new cd? All I've heard is sometime at the end of summer, they are supposed to be in studio now... Kind of hard to find info on something like that though...
Although I enjoyed steal this album, I really hope the new one is more like toxicity or the first album. Even though steal this album wasn't ever going to be released, some songs were good, but there were a lot of "slower" songs on it. After following the Deftones since adrenaline, once a band starts making slow emotional music its pretty much over :(

speaking of new CDs, when the hell is Trent going to bless us with another brainchild?
cant wait for the new album.

1.: METALLICA \m/_
2.-6.: Overseer, Prodigy, Rammstein, Members of mayday, fatboy slim
+ (not to forget): Lee Greenwood - proud to be an american and some RA songs like CRUSH, HELL MARCH and BIGFOOT

I love metal and punkrock, so here is my top 5 at the moment..

1) Metallica
2) Megadeth
3) Green Day
4) Manowar
5) Marilyn Manson

Wow, lots of Metal fans here! Forgot to mention that I like Metallica, Deftones and Korn.. but like a guy told me in IRC, "There's like no one that DOESN'T listen to metal"
