This weekend I am trading my Xbox with my mate for his 20gb Creative MP3 player as I'm getting a 360 in two weeks time. This deal works best as Xbox's don't go for all that much and Creative 20g's are quite expensive.
Griz360
Not got Gold atm but now i've got GoW, i plan on getting it over the next couple of days, especially since they're offering 1600 free marketplace points with every Gold subscription!!
Sign up to Xbox Live Gold for 12 months and get 1600 Microsoft Points free.
Upgrade from Xbox Live? Silver to Gold for 12 months and get 1600 Microsoft? Points free. That's enough for some classic Arcade games, gamer pics, map packs, demos or themes. How you spend them is up to you. Just subscribe to Gold between 2/11/2006 and 2/1/2007 and we'll automatically send you the points. Simply buy a pre-paid 12 month membership card from your nearest game retailer, or sign up for Gold membership through the Xbox 360? dashboard with your credit card. It's as easy as that; but remember it's a limited time offer so don't pass it up. Just look at all the other fantastic stuff you'll be missing out on if you do!
I have a 30gb Creative MP3 player and it's only $250 :| Unless you have a Core system this isn't such a great deal.
No, no, I'm trading in my standard Xbox. With me getting a 360 soon, I have no need to keep it, and the chance to trade something worth about ?30 for a 20g MP3 that goes for something like a ?100 I think that's pretty good.
That is exactly what you do. Making sure your account info is deleted from your Xbox hard drive prevents people from "stealing" your Xbox Live account. And to recover it, just connect your 360 to the Internet, get all the Dashboard updates, and then you can (by navigating through 0-2 menus) find a "Recover Gamertag" button, and then you just enter a bunch of validation information. Your account will automatically be set to Gold status as well, since you just paid for a full month's subscription.Annnnyway, just last week my Live Account renewed itself for another month and I'm wondering how I go about getting it to my 360. A freind says I delete it from my Xbox harddrive now before giving it away, then I can retrieve it from the Internet using credit card details and stuff and succesfully have it back again, for my 360, and with no money spent.
omg so many consol gamers on Hl2.net i cant believe it. Were doomed!
PC FTW...and the old Nes and the Sega genesis BUT THATS IT!
Hmm, I don't think you're on my list...None of you are ever online!
Except Dalamari, but he's always playing games I don't have.
