Zen is to HL1 as Ravenholm is to HL2...

I'm at the buggy part but ravenholm was the best! creepy, tough,...
i like going to diffrent places in games! The best about ravenholm is that once your trough you just want to hug the first combine soldiers, after killing so many zombies! :upstare:
Hope to se this kind of scenes trough the game! really spices up the game!

But i agree, xen sucked!

If any level felt uot of place it was Dark Energy, yes it had a feel of HL1 to it. But i felt like i wos in star wars, i was waiting for chewey to come back me up or Hans Solo....
It felt as if I was walking through one of the underground alien bases in Halo. Still fun as heck though... :sniper:

Ravenholm is the kind of level i always hate, and yet I loved Ravenholm. And father Gregori.
Xen was just annyoing. And when will people stop saying Zen?
ill second that entire post.

Ravenholm was superb, it really fit well into the plot IMO. Its jsut really cool, i love half life 2 for its enviroments and that sci fi clash it as...Citadel against the architecture of city 17...wonderful...

Headcrab zombies placed in a minign town? brilliant

Every HL2 chapter felt like I was changing the channel when you compare it to HL1. It's like two ends of the spectrum. HL1 was mostly one continuous artistic theme. HL2 goes in the complete opposite direction and never leaves you in one place for very long. It's like they couldn't decide what FPS sub-genre they wanted so they did a chapter in each style. I have no problems with that and it didn't detract from my HL2 experience.

Was very jumpy during that whole thing, especially as I used by ammo up quickly, I tell ya about 4 out of my 5 deaths are from there.

Ummm...Father Grigori kills himself at the end of that level, I think. He yells something at the zombies before he jumps into the fire, something that makes me think he was drawing them into the fire with him, to let you escape. Father Grigori said that these are his flock, and he is there shepard in one part, he has no place in the world, so he kills himself, makes sense to me.
Father Grigori...I salute you :)

Xen was ok, it just went on too long. Ravenholm was awesome and didnt go on long anough. Father Grigory was easily the best charactor.

I disagree.. i'd say starting with the "our benefactors" chaper is what i think resembled that kind of "weird" like feeling like zen in the original...

I heard someone say if you stay there long enough, gregori runs across the cemetary again, so he may have lived.
And it's XEN! For the love of god!
