Zombie films

I have to say...I hope the day never comes that they go out of fasion.

I mean, i know its all cliched and been done before, but they are just so fun.

I recently saw Shawn of the Dead which is funny and a Zombie film...marvelous.

Anyway, they promted this thread. I think it would be an interesting "twist" on the zombie film genre if they set it in, for example, the city of Rome at the peak of the Roman Empire. How fun would it be to see roman Preatorians running around the city protecting the Emeperor from Zombies. How would they deal with the zombie threat without shotguns?

Of course, while pondering over this i thought about other possiblities (as i always do). Imagine a sort of cross between, ooo i dont know, the Lord of the Rings universe and ours. So, the Roman Legion up against the raging hordes of orcs.

Maybe i will just go to be and hope i dream about it....

I always wanted to see a cross between The Matrix and LOTR's.

Think of it as one of the first Matrix's.Picture Hobbiton with all the Hobbits walking around minding there own business while two 6ft Agents are standing by the Pub.

dawn of the dead was awesome and so was resident evil. Something appealing about the massive onslaught of zombies who r so easy to kill yet so hard due to sheer numbers. Makes a lot more fun gun play. Another reason they're so great is just the idea of a dead society where the structures of the life yur used to are around but everybodies gone and stuff. It's just cool.

Zombies rock. I can't wait for The Movies to make my own 300000 zombiesplatter-movies.

I can only say one thing to those who haven't got the entire HL2 spoiled with all this beta and everything: If you like scary zombies, you're in for a treat with this game!

Hey, lets have a competition, submit wavs of yourself doing impressions of zombies. winner gets erm... erm... winner gets to be remembered for doing a cool zombie moan. Oh and all the decent ones get to be used on Brisck1's DOTD mod to add some variety... though he doesn't know about it yet, whoops
