I always thought they were saying god help me while it was being said in game. Perhaps I'm just so awesome, that my brain automatically caught Valve's trick and made it sound the correct way in my own head!?!?!?!?

I had the EXACT same thing! I can swear I heard them say "god help me" in game already, so either there's another sound of em that isn't played backwards, or my mind is messed up as well :afro:

OK, as if the screams of the Zombies were not bad enough!! Now that I know what they are saying, that makes it all the more horrifying, since that implies that there really is a mind (of a sort) intact in the body which has been mutated by the headcrab.

with Barney's attitude toward "heddy lamarr" all the more, since these things really do cause people a LOT of pain, and should not be pets... Still, having a de-beaked headcrab as a pet is kinda funny, at least until you connect it with the screaming zombie/humans later.

Heh, the way he was trying to coax her onto the top of his head... it sounds like it's a comfort thing for her. Watching him walk around with his pet on his head like some kind of mutant coonskin would be pure hilarity...
