I was looking through some of those screen shots, and i found it odd that the headcrabs in the zombie's head is awfully big. Bigger than the size they suppose to be. IF i recall correctly, i remember that zombies in HL1 had the same headcrabs that are in same size.

the headcrabs in hl2 have diffrent sizes and shapes.

ypu also have 3 diffrent spicies of headcrab that can make 3 diffrent zombies
