Still a huge fan of Zero Punctuation although I liked Monkey Island 3 despite it's incompatibility to the ending of Monkey Island 2. (Carnival of the damned excuse was bullshit)

Hmm, being maybe even a bigger fan of the MI series than he, I disagree with what he says for the most part. I loved the first 2 episodes of the new series, though I agree about the controls and graphics, but I am of the mindset that adventure games should all look as "good" and play just like MI2 and Fate of Atlantis, etc.

Grim Fandango was the epitome of the classic 3D adventure game. I don't think any Lucasarts-style game since that has been any good in 3D.

I never could get to grips with Fandango's awful controls. Then how they went on to make the next Monkey Island (4) worse than GF I have no idea.
