Well... based on what happened to Gordon and Adrian, it seems like the G-Man is collecting "agents" of a sort to affect events in a direct, highly visible, method while the G-Man himself prefers to alter events behind the scenes (sort of like Cancer Man from X-Files). And based on what he says...

Is this animal relocation before the 7 hours or part of the attack? Because unless they sent an entire species, i don't see how ANY species can reproduce into that many in less than 7 hours. Even the Facehuggers and Xenomorphs took at least a day to reproduce...
