The Last Grear War is around middle of stage 2, we're inching close to getting an alpha (a basic one, nothing to drop your jaw at).
The Somme Valley however is hitting a snag. Since we were working on the HL1 demo, and our HL2 models were done almost a year before Hl2 came out, we thought it...
I hope you guys enjoy them (in case you don't know, I'm LGW's development leader/webmaster). And as my buddy Azlan said, keep your eyes open for more media in the next week or so!
About The Mod
In 1914, the world was tossed into turmoil when Archduke Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated by a Serbian radical, bringing Europe, and the world, into a 4 year, 8.5 Million Lives Lost struggle, which we call The First World War. In every war, there are a few battles which...
Well, that's kinda like comparing MoH:AA and CoD or something. Both WW2, but both totaly different. I've played TT, and quite obviously my own mod (woo for beta), and I guarntee you they are nothing alike. TT has pro's over TSV, TSV has pros over TT, just as Im sure will be the case with OTT...

So, the same should be said about World War 2 games then? More than 32 people stormed the beached at Omaha I can tell ya that, but WW2 games manage to pull that one off, dont they?
The reason there were so many soldiers in any given battle was the length of the lines. Miles upon miles either...
Paying monthly for a game does make sence, but not if your Half-Life. MMORPG's require pay-to-play because there are central servers where thousands of people play.. that tends to get a little expensive.
But Half-Life is all user-run, especially since not many people are going to be playing...
