How can I make a zombie release his headcrab in a scripted sequence. It isn't crucial that this happens in a scripted sequence though. I tried the "releasecrab" animation, but it didn't work as I expected. I looked the the npc_zombie inputs for a possible command to release it but didn't find...
Did you try loading the pointfile? Map>Load Pointfile
Try remaking this nodraw box. From recent experience I noticed that if you resize a hollow box when they are grouped, or all selected and it becomes larger then before, it can have a space between the nodraw (or any kind of texture, just...
Open source models.gcf Steam locks the files, so you can do one of these to get around it: close steam or duplicate the file to a new filename and open it
Then in GCFscape open hl2>models then you are smooth sailing.
Is there anyway to remove a brush based entity from a brush (no undoable). I know you can do it in a text editor, but that seems needlessly complicated. Is there some tool in hammer to do this that I have overlooked? :x
Ah, thats what I expected. If for a prop it is pushed in as far as possible (not visible in 3D view) is it always rendered, as long it is in a rendered VIS leaf?
Well this happens to me when I open the props_lab folder. It would be nice to know what the hell is wrong. Right now I use GCFscape to browse the models there. I am going to put up this question on steampowered for valve to figure out.
I am not new to hammer at all, but I never have known what those circular things that you can pull from an entities orgin is/does. I guessed it might be something to do with render distance or something. I know it's a n00by question, but could someone clue me in... :rolling:
Nodraw is verrrrry cheap, because it isn't just a transparent texture, the compiler actually literally puts nothing there as a texture, so it is verrrrrrry cheap.
Yea umm I changed them to prop_phys_multiplayer. It works for one of 3 types of cars it works fine for 1 kind. It appears the body for the other weigh a ton, because they fall to the ground, but the body pretty much bottoms out and the wheels pop trough again.
