Umm I know it comes with a version of Visual C++ or something licenced to Valve. Make a mod (HL2, or DM Mod) and goto the mod folder and run run_studiomdl.bat.
I want to know what files contain the contents of the menu that pops up when you press q (adding entities and npcs). I want to add my own custom cfg's to it.
I am going to get into HL2 coding and I want some tutorials to help get me into it. I am somewhat used to C++ and I do have Visual Studio .Net Standard, so I should be good to go. Any advice on getting into coding?
Well I have been learning AI sp controlingso we can have AI attck at specific times. I have also been looking at coding (C++) and I have been working to learn the language so I might try and learn coding for Half-Life 2.
Wow that actually sounds schweet! I can picture helicopters like flying by the camera and approaching the base and zombies using rpg's like mad and trying to shoot them down then huge battle. You are one of the last guys standing...its night and you have to escape with your life fast, Fighters...
OH i saw some of the other synth models in hammer. so why aren't all of those thing in the game? or maybe i just forget.. oh the ride in the capsule rite before you first see stalkers...euah
Not sure if I am exactly Jonny quality, although I do try (I am a perfectionist). It's my second map ever but I tried to keep it as original as possible. I plan on modding it a bit for a new version (New rooms, halls, and of course etities (more interaction with the map))

Not too bad. I just finished the Temple from Goldeneye 007 for N64 (CSS). Man you made that a high security washroom, either that or there are alot of perverts in the facility, because you have armoured doors on the stalls lol. I would say it has too much blue in the wall textures tho.
