About $2000 or so. I had some of my components (soundcard, speakers, etc) before, and then I sold my old computer to my dad and bought all my new components (case, mobo, processor, etc). I ended up only paying about $1000 after I sold my other comp and all.
I agree. It seems like right after I bought everything the price dropped. Oh well... At least we have quality rigs for Doom3 and HL2 :cheers: (and all the games to come...)

Hmm... I know that they pulled the 1.2 patch because it was having severe conflictions with seemingly every ATI card. Maybe they didn't test it on ATI systems or something? But hey, I agree, another reason to hate FarCry more and more. It baffles me how companies can put out these shoddy...
I don't know what store you be goin' to, but I don't know of any store where you can trade in your coupon that came with a 9600XT for HL2. If I send it the coupon it will take forever for it to actually arrive at my house. This is assuming that the still have supplies and all. I don't see how...
September release date (as much as it dissapoints me that it was not out earlier this "summer") sounds more reasonable. I'll buy that. But if they release it September 30th, not only will I be mad that it's late September, but because it is just kinda like "spitting in the gamers faces."...
I have a Thermaltake case with 7 fans and a 420 watt power supply right now. I'm all the stuff in my specs minus the X800 XT. I'm running a 9600XT rather. My friend is thinking that since the X800 XT will probably be a power hog (along with my current fans) I should upgrade my PSU so my fans...
