This is why the game community get all the criticism that it does. Because some immature little 15 year old CS player thinks it'd be cool to send jack tompson death threats.
Idiots like that ruin the name of the gaming community.
It's not legal (or moral) to pirate either games or software. BUT, the impact of piracy is huge on the game industry, and not so much in prodoctivity/application industry.
But a US shot is generally an ounce, which is ~30mL, so there are about 25 shots in a fifth.
Anyone who says they drank a whole fifth one night is lying out of thier ass. Unless they ended up in the hospital with alcohol poisioning. Then maybe they're telling the truth.
it looks good, but it's pretty wasteful, triangle wise. Think about the view the player is going to see of the the gun. He's not going to see down the barrel, he's not going to see into the slide, he's not going to see the slide rail.
Also, that magazine looks odd. I don't think the USP uses...
So your whole argument is based on the fact that games are digital content?
"stealing a car and pirating something that exists in the digital world are completely different things. a car is a physical item that has a worth and can't be replaced unless another car is bought."
When you by a...
If your so short on cash that you can't buy a video game you should be worried about other things... such as working. If you don't have the $50 to buy a game, you shouldn't be wasting time playing them... get a job and pay your rent/food/entertainment expenses.
No one HAS to pirate anything. No...
No offense, but this post scream I'M IGNORANT.
First off, it's Beta 1. The very first edition. It's going to be distributed to IT and Tech professionals. Why? Because they actually know what they're talking about and can offer real advice and analasis of the problem.
Instead of "Teh PC...
So you're saying that there are some people who pirate games because they want to praise an appreciate those who put the work into designing it? So to recognize them, they steal it so they don't have to recognize them through the system that is already set up (ie, buying it?)?
Then you say...
..And you'd be wrong on most of those points. Despite popular belief, not every company in the world turns billions or millions of dollars of profit.
1)That's not true. 1 person pirates the software, and then shares with other people. These other people don't say "Oh hey.. I got this...
I'd like to re-iterate that my post had nothing to do specificly with this mod, but your statement. For all I know (I skimmed the site) this mod is groundbreaking, it's revolutionary, it is unique and original. I was just saying that I hate it when people call something original because they're...
I'd just like to mention that it is an op-ed piece, and not an article that has the "support" of the paper. Mainstream media isn't waking up to anything, they merely published this guys editorial because a)he just wrote a book about it that's selling well and b)it benefits them to show both...
You need something other than ME. Windows doesn't run on ME. It is possibly, in the history of time, the poorest designed and implemented operating system ever.
Generally speaking, big companies aren't targeting the end user. They're targeting businesses and corporations. Yes, it's physically as easy for a corporation to pirate Photoshop or Maya or whatever, but if they do that there are consideribly more consequences than if and end user pirates it. If...
Let me start by saying this: CJkaoswar, please don't take this post as an attack on your mod, I'm merely responding to what xC4RN4G3x said.
Ok, that said... It really kind of steams me when people do what you just did xC4RN4G3x. People say "Oh, that idea sounds original/unique... it's like...
