So far, got The Witcher, World of Goo, Galcon Fusion... and an extra copy of CS:S for that one guy at the LAN party who doesn't have it... yeah, that guy.
Debating on Civ 4. I'm a big fan of fast-paced Strategy games but I've never really given 4X games a shot, is it worth $10?
By that logic I would also say that it's wrong that most games require Windows.

I suppose we can try to look at it objectively, but I really don't think there is any comparison; Steam IS superior. D2D doesn't come close to Steam's features, and they recently added a 5-time activation...
Given that he turned down SC2 as a platform because he didn't think it provided enough to improve on DoTA, he will probably be working on a game that is significantly expanded upon the DoTA concepts, but perhaps with entirely different gameplay.
Which is good, imo :P
Don't forget to factor Valve Time into the equation! :P
Joking aside, that's good to hear for the L4D fans. Shame about the Xbox Live DLC costing $7 though, MS doesn't want people to get stuff for free, eh?
Haha although this is an entirely different argument than what the other people have been making, I actually totally agree with you. I was REALLY hoping for some Episode 3 stuff at E3. Valve always spaced their games out, having two L4D releases within a year is unlike them, and unfortunate for...
Aww and we got 6 posts in without a troll!
EDIT: Thanks for removing that last part, now its reasonable. To be honest, I agree with you that it is an entirely invalid point to argue.
Everyone needs to chill out and wait for more info. As others have said, people are having some entitlement...
For: Valve needs to make money like any other content out there. The amount of content that they will have for L4D2 is unreasonable for a DLC. People say TF2 has had that much DLC, BUT:
1) It was spread out over a very long period of time, each update was quite small. They want to release all of...
Well, you're excused. It's a fan website, not a business. He can say whatever the heck he wants. It's the ****ing internet. He also makes a good point.
People have come to expect Valve to be better than everyone else, and we have really been fortunate as customers to get what we have so far...
This was pretty disappointing, but I'm confident that it's for a good reason. My guess is that the there are some technical aspects of episode 3 that have caused a setback, and they felt they were not yet confident/prepared enough to reveal anything about it.
Specifically, I am thoroughly...
They haven't even revealed what he's going to get, how can you say that?
I don't ever recall hearing that. They are going to revamp every class one by one like they have been.
It's not pointless, the whole idea is to provide a change up in gameplay and offer slight rewards for the people...
