Very impressive render of Japanese girl, for a static model.
Would be more impressive if they could give her some realistic 3d motion and life-like facial expressions, as Valve has done for for G-man and Alyx.
I want to see her shake her ass and flash a naughty smile!:cheese:
Its cool how kleiner can use his hand to adjust his glasses. A little thing but still its neat. Another nice little touch how he leans forward bending his body to type on the keyboard.
I find it amazing how the 3d models can use their arms to express themselves while talking as a real person would. No other game has ever had that. It goes well with the expressive facial animations, even the eyeballs move realistically.
The quality of the trailers suck even the hi-res versions. I am disappointed.
Showed a guy walking around with some cool weapon models. Nice outdoor environments, but bland indoor scenes. Trailer doesn't show much variety in terms of the environments. All you see is a big outdoor countryside...
I don't mind paying more upfront for the game itself. But I hope Valve doesn't intend to charge monthly subscription fees for playing online. Now that I would mind.
Is there a way to use my custom models and sounds in 1.6? If so, how?
Below are some custom models I have in my CS 1.5 folder and use for on-line play. You can see why the default CS models look like crap to me.
No way it can be from HL2. It looks much too blocky. Like a Half-Life 1 map.
It looks a lot like the old cs_assault map from Counter-strike, minus the crane.
Many blacks are descended from the slavery days when it wasn't unusual for white masters to have sexual relations with their black slaves. So Alyx could be carrying some white genes and not even know it.
Lisa Bonet and Mariah Carey are two examples of light-skinned blacks.
Do a google for Chaser demo. Lots of places to get it.
The demo gives you a small taste of rag-doll physics, specular graphics, and some breakable physics, none of which are implemented very well.
Other than that, the game sucks. :x ;(
It's definitely in there. It's in the Max Payne PC demo and the full game. I don't know about the console versions.
You can see it in the PC demo levels for example (I think its a hotel). You climb out onto the ledge of a hotel and see this boarded up window. Wherever you shoot or break the...
Has anyone played the Chaser demo?
When you shoot at wooden planks in this game, it breaks exactly at the point you shoot at, so I'm sure you can do the same in HL2. This isn't exactly a big deal. Even Max Payne (the original) has this mundane feature.
