Supposedly you don't have to worry about open apps on Android, because it somehow manages them so that they don't drain your battery/memory (of course apart from ones using data/GPS, as you said). I also heard that after a few weeks the battery life can actually improve - in my experience I...
I charge my smartphone every two days or so. I have wi-fi and 3G turned off and turn either of them on only when I want to use the Internet. I generally don't like to do any extensive web/games use on the phone, since I usually have access to a PC; but at times when I need to check something...
Glad to know you're OK (well, apart from that nose). Who was that driver guy anyway - was he a friend of yours? How did you end up in a car with an idiot at the wheel?
I thought Alan Wake was pretty tense. The combat got tiresome pretty quickly, but the tension was there.
Don't know if you know, but he played Amnesia some time ago (which almost qualifies as a Penumbra game).
Hmm, perhaps I'll pledge that $15. One thing that bothers me (which doesn't really affect gameplay) is the art style of the avatars (the 2D ones I mean) - it's pretty bad IMHO.
What made you decide to do this Raz, did you have an unpleasant experience or something?
Since I got my tooth punched out while coming home from a club at 3am (not mugging-related BTW), I carry pepper-spray in my jacket's pocket. But then again the low-lifes here don't carry guns.
A few minutes ago I almost had a collision.
(I drive on the right side of the road BTW)
I was driving out of a supermarket's driveway, about to turn right. As I approached the main road I checked my left and since it was clear, I went ahead and took a right turn out of the driveway only to...
Tbh, I thought we already had stuff like this. I guess it's neat, but my mind is not blown. A few years ago showcases like this impressed me, but now it looks like we just polish what's more or less already there.
There's also the possibility that the only car that spawns according to script, is the one the target car crashes into and the rest are just 'there' as part of the traffic flow.
Watch Dogs looks pretty good, I just hope the vehicle physics will be improved - something about them didn't seem right in the video, especially during the getaway (I think this had to do with the sound of the car hitting high RPM's not corresponding with how it behaved, giving an illusion of it...
Protip: If you cycle through the weapons and the highlight is red - cycle the other way, so that it's white - that way you'll select and not drop the weapon. Also, '4' on the keyboard switched to two-handed.
