hm...what location? you want Canadian servers? US? UK? and what part of the country as well? these things would help unless of course you don't mind pinging 200+ in servers. personally i can't stand pinging over 120.

there must be a file on your computer that executes itself on Windows startup which triggers the popups...thats the very first thing that comes to mind. another thing to check for is the Windows messaging service...did you disable it? if not, that could be your problem. lastly, there ere are...

i remember this plugin from CS1.6 yeah, its not a hack or anything...its a plugin which allows you to jump higher and further...back in the day i remember this plugin mostly just being on servers which ran certain custom maps. it was fun the first few times but i wasn't a big fan of the plugin.
