me and my brother had a problem in borealis. we got to the part where you're outside and can see the captian's cabin with green glass. we ran around everywhere, but we can't figure out what to do or where to go other than back the way we came from? help us haha.
I'm not trying to start a flamewar dude, but you still are just trying to make a truth where there isn't one. The last thing you said doesn't even make sense. There is no such thing as lighter than light or blacker than black. Pure white light is white. Pure absence of all light is black...
could you last two guys give me a specific area. i've never seen a room be almost totally black and then get lighter.
also "It's not as noticable as the change from dark to light, since you can always have brighter light, but black is as dark as it gets, and hence the HDR need to be able...
So HDR is super cool right? When you come out of a dark room, everything is super bright for a second or too. What about when you come from a bright area into a dark room. Does everything get super black for a second before your eyes adjust? Cause i didn't notice that. If not...they really...
my brother has the game. it looks cool but i'll admit that it looks buggy as hell. everywhere from graphical bugs to bugs that get you "stuck" at a certain part in the game. he did buy it. its too bad that they didn't crush all those bugs even though they had all this extra time waiting for...
gah it kills me when people say bush "runs" the u.s. like there's not a system of checks and balances. come on now people, if you dont' like the way things are, congress and the supreme court are just as much to blame as the executive branch.
if it would have been a full upgrade to where it almost looked as good as hl2, i definately would have 100% replayed the first one over. since its not i really don't care that much. i'll probably never even play it, and just wait until the mod community does it the right way
dude, i'm sorry. you're completely wrong. i guess its pointless to try and tell someone something if they're not going to listen. HL2 is going to run at a much lower framerate than what people get in the stresstest.
no offense dude, but that is completely wrong. i'm too lazy to look it up now, but valve has stated that the stress test is not an accurate representation of hl2 the game. the stress test is nothing. hl2 is going to be fairly taxing on people's computers.
haha do you honestly expect people to feel sorry for you? you cheated once, therefore there's a pretty good chance that you'll cheat in cs:source. and we dont' need that. hey, i got bored with counter-strike too. guess what my solution was...i stopped playing it.
i dont' get that...
thats something that i totally dont' get. cs:source is hl2's multiplayer, but they're releasing it early. how can that work with their contract with vivendi if they can't release hl2 before its out in stores.
i'm disappointed. i think its pretty lazy as well. i really didn't care as much if there was a deathmatch (i still figured it would come with hl2 kind of like the quake deathmatch for hl1), but i definately thought vavle would come up with some sort of creative hl2 themed multiplayer...
haha i like it how people post screenies of their awesome score and expect people to be proud of it. its like "hey, if you didn't notice your team was full of good people and the other was full of shitty people"
no, i meant a deathmatch teamplay. One side is marines with standard weapons, the other side is composed of aliens with their crazy alien weapons. that could have been sweet
