Well I can say I enjoyed games more when I was younger but now most of the games bore me. The only game that I could play for hours and hours without being bored is Half-life 2. For me the Half-life 2 is the perfect game.

Everything is good except the mobo and cpu. I suggest you buy a Neo2 Platinum S939 mobo and 3200+ 90nm cpu. Better performence when overclocked. You can OC it to 2.5-2.55 ghz with stock cooler

Whats SDK? And I would be happier if we got new CS:S models than a new map. But I'm really hoping it will be hl2 multi-player. I think Valve wanted us to complete the game first(majority of us) and then let us have Multi-player, since if it was released the same day as hl2 it would spoil...

those cards looks good but PCI-E only......and what about the x900 series, they are expected to be released in january so I would rather wait for them.

And when did ATI say that their next gen cards(X900) won't support PS 3.0?

x900 will support Pixel Shader 3.0 or 3.0b so you can call it next generation :)

Troubles with 520 mhz core? Where did you read that? Some XTs can go above 600 mhz with stock cooling. Doom 3 uses 512 mb so nothing is wrong to have 512 mb card ;)

ATI will continue with AGP too for quite awhile, right? Since not many has PCI-E now. Edit: According to them, the x900 series will be released in January. I might sell my X800 XT PE and get that one then :)

Have you looked at Far Cry's labs like that and doom 3s? I have played all 3 games and I can easily say that hl2 graphics is the best. I'm playing all at 1600x1200 on MAX settings, what about you?
