Ya actually I've heard that all of the bosses are just vehicles. Which is a let down in my opinion, MGS games have been known for their ridiculous boss characters.
ya u will eventually figure out the bosses are as tough as hell. I died maybe 4 times on the second boss. I have beaten all the mgs games, but i think its just that I'm not used to the controls.
I was looking up some E3 previews and I came across this and I was like crap this looks awesome. I really love the whole 1950's alien hunter vibe. For some reason it also reminds me of team fortress 2. Has anyone ever played the other Xcoms? I have heard that they are strategy games essential...
Today I went to the local comic book shop and much to my surprise I found the Metal Gear Solid Omnibus! This collects both Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty graphic novels by Ashley Wood. I have read the Metal Gear Solid novel, but not the 2nd one so I plan on reading it...
Oh yes, the story for the whole mgs series is excellent , many people just write off the series as just some stealth action game and just play them for the hell of it. But when you play for the story it is one of the most emotional experiences you will have in video games
Ya they had hover platforms, but that was not much of a stretch because that is like something you would see in a 60's james bond movie or something. Which mgs 3 reminded me about in a lot of aspects. The ship looks like something out of terminator.

So far I am maybe 2 1/2 hours in and my thoughts on the game are pretty good. I have finally sighted the flying vehicle that I was worried about. The design of that damn ship just bothers me. They are really pushin the boundaries on what technology was actually possible in 1974. I know its metal...
ya I am also hoping its a prequel also, it would only make sense. Or maybe at the last minute they will pull the rug from under us and decide that it wont be cannon and will be just some Raiden spin-off. Peace Walker is almost upon us. I'm going to be looking forward to to all of u guys reviews.
Indeed what has me perplexed though is that if it is a sequel or prequel? Hardly any updates or news has appeared for Rising. Peace Walker has taken up all the press!
Gargantou, the games I have finished are metal gear 2: solid snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal gear solid portable ops. I never beat the original Metal Gear or the the one for gameboy, I believe I'm stuck...

As you can see I am a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid Series, it is probably my favorite series of all time. Okay I know we are on a half-life fan site, but I regard the half-life series as my favorite FPS. I just wanted to ask is there anybody on here looking forward to peace walker as much as...

Ya I'm extremely tempted to get galaxy 2 I really enjoyed the first game. But MGS peace walker comes out in a week so I gotta save. But damn galaxy 2 is getting a lot of perfect to almost perfect scores all across the board.
