Another thing that sucks about simcity 4 is the advisors. They are so annoying and are rarely ever helpful. Not to mention the crappy 3d faces they have. The advisors in 3000 were great and the faces were much nicer. Agreed.

Simcity 3000 was by far the best one imo. Simcity 4 is good but it just slows down to a halt on my computer when the city grows. I can't stand it.

I live about 30 minutes(without traffic) from the Los Angeles Convention Center where e3 is held. Unfortunatley I know no one who has a pass or works in the industry to be able to go. And I'm too lazy/its not important enough for me to create a blog to fake my way in.

I have this exact same problem. Only source games do this. My monitor is a bit dark so I have the gamma turned up so I can view my desktop better. It isn't the monitor that is having the problem as other games do not do this. I'm on a 9800 pro. Here's the thread I posted a while back on this...

They are. They should be in the next big CS:S update but when thats coming is anyone's guess.

net_graph 0 the number can be changed to display the graph in different locations on the screen. I believe it goes up to 3. not sure.

How fast is your ram? You could see a performance boost if you actually upgraded the speed of your ram.
