Because we are all optimistic that HL2 will wow us and engross us as much as HL1 did when it was first released. Not since Doom 1 had any game grabbed me so much. HL2 will likely expand upon the ground that was broken with HL1 and exceed our expectations in ways we can't quite grasp yet...
