Well, I'm not sure what you consider 'ready', but here are my specs anyway:
- Intel P4 1.7ghz
- 256 megs of SDRAM (yeah yeah)
- geForce 4 Ti 4200
Upgrades in store: adding another stick of 256 megs of RAM, and buying a Radeon 9700. *Then*, I might be ready.
Wow, that's some serious machine you got there... It also surprises me that your desktop is tidy, I know very few people (including myself) who keep a tidy desk ;)
Hmmm... well, it's free, so I guess it's worth it...
BTW, does anyone know if the version of Half-Life featured in Steam includes the high definitions pack?
Hey, got a quick question:
If I download Half-Life or any other game via steam, does the game stays on my HD like a regular game, or is it only playable through Steam?
If I uninstall Steam will the game be gone as well?
If only you could play through something other than Steam... I downloaded CS and I can't even play it since the map doesn't load. I imagine it would probably be the same for Half-Life 1.
Heh, I wasn't trying to offend you, sorry you took it so personally. It's just that you don't see these types of posts (equations and stuff) on different forums, and I find that interesting that it's very rare that fans would put so much thought into just a small fragment of a video.
Sure, I mean, I would be bothered if no one at the first showing of Half-Life 2, probably the most anticipated game ever, would show any imotions at all
