When me and Reginald went travelling around Europe we decided Romania Brasov is the bestest place to visit. It's so cheap and the people speak some English and it has its own hollywood Brasov sign.
And bears.
I am cursed by the thumb spin, I thought I'd stop doing it after I left school but now I do it just as much in uni lectures. Different from the sonic though, I spin round the thumb, not the middle fingers.
And I haven't stopped doing it since.
The Fountain was awesome, atmospheric and visual, not really a fan of Contact and Jodie Foster being all manly around the place. Solaris is a guilty pleasure even if it is a bit shit.
Hah, true. All my copies are tattered and old, which adds to the appeal and gnarledness of the frontcovers. I dont like the new ones in hardback, they feel too clean and snooty.
I don't like the new artist for the frontcovers as much as the old one, who I think may have passed away which probably made it difficult for him to draw them. They were crazy and colourfull and how I imagine discworld to be, the new guy is pretty dark and gritty.
Edit: Just realised if you're...
Terry Pratchett having alzheimers is one of the sadder things in the world, the man is an complete legend.
All of his books are most certainly worth reading, but Guards! Guards! is an awesome choice as it has one of my favourite moments in discworld, the entire guards series is great in fact.
I started out making my own Shepard but he looked like shaved testicle with a face so I went with slightly customised default shepard. Playing a testicle did not appeal to me.
