mainly HD speed, the hard drive is probably the slowest component in the PC. To my CPU, it feels like an eternity before the HD data reaches it. And I have raptor drives.

The only problem I have with CS (I get 200ish FPS) but sometimes when I playing I get an illegal operation or w/e so as a result CS closes on me. I don't know why, but it PISSES ME OFF!!!!!

Not true. All of my classes this semester are computer courses (Cisco 3/4, 2 networking courses) so I kinda have to be on my computer for Cisco, and I have to type up lab reports/documentation for my labds etc...

I'd say go for a linksys, I've had problems with d-link. Anyways, get the linksys, then get the 7dbi signal boosters for it and you should be "Taco Bell - Good to go" Or get go straight wired. It's 2006, go with CAT6 cable, that's what'd I'd do. CAT5E at the minimum :D
