Very interesting article. The only thing I missed in it is that you can throw a grenade close to your feet and switch back to the grav gun very quickly to shoot the grenade quickly to your opponent which is far more effective in some situations than just throwing it to him.

They have made some mistakes but Valve has made a very good game and they listen too the HL2 community really well. And they fix bugs fast compared to most other developers. They released HL2 DM after seeing how many people complained about the absence of it. And Valve is the developer of Steam...

I always try to watch it. It's one of my most fav tv shows ever, toghether with Seinfeld, Red Dwarf and Scrubs. I don't know which episode I liked the most, every episode is funny AND interesting :thumbs:

Yes, there are a few parts where you have that choice. But most people only see the most visible choice but if you pay attention you can also solve some problems in another way, you should watch the speedrun vids if you want to know those. I'm happy HL2 got away with 2 awards instead of Doom...

The long loading time for the main menu is because of the ingame background. It's not because of Steam because when you start HL2DM the loadtime is very short because it has a standard background. But I agree there where too much loading times. Even if they only lasted 30 seconds they were more...

I voted for a more advanced grav gun. I quoted this from the Chaos UT2:Evolution website (an UT2004 mod) and an ability like this in HL2 would be very cool It will be fun in HL2 dm with all those enemies and other objects being sucked into one point.

Done, I voted for Doom 3 :P j/k I voted for HL2 of course, even in multiplayer. I still enjoy UT2004 mp more because of the maps, mutators and mods but I'm sure the HL2 community will release a lot of fantastic mods and maps the next months.
