So I'm not special ;( j/k HL2DM is everything I expected what it would be, just throwing all kinds of objects to each other. All I wish is a little bit more official maps by Valve and less lag because it sometimes makes toiletting very difficult. And I even have lag when I have a ping of 30...

In C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[your username]\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\cfg is a text file named 'config.cfg'. Open it, hit CTRL and F and search for 'cl_allowdownload'. The number after that should be 1

HL2 and GTA:SA are very different games so you can't really compare them. Which you like more depends on what gameplay style you like. HL2's singleplayer is almost perfect. I wished I had a little bit more freedom like in Far Cry but then it's very difficult too make the AI handle everything...

Manhacks, it's fun shooting them with the shotgun or picking them up with your gravgun and using it against other enemies

When that video was released it wasn't implemented in HL2 yet, the movie shows what you could expect in HL2 when the game was finished but what you saw in the movie was scripted. I think they didn't put in in because it was to complex so it would cause a lot of bugs. And if they wanted too put...
