That's not a combine. Combine units are smarter than that, they hide behind objects, carry weapon (duh!) and try to kill you. They dont think they can fly by flapping their arms.

Simpleness? Are you sure of that? I mean, I'm sure you think its simple compared to a mod like CS or DoD or DC or whatever (yes I think that too ;)), but that is a crapload of work... For it to be believable, you need a total converstion. New weapons, new characters, new animations for...

If pointless deaths are the cause of the worlds end, it would end every year. Besides, the SE Asia disaster is all because of us, humans. If the global warning system had worked (which it did sort of) and the goverment had the will (which it didnt), we would counted deaths in the hundreds.

Compared to what? I dont think it looks better at all compared to earlier shots... Like in that latest link, where's the grass that was in the early screenshots? Looks more like Morrowind now than original Stalker, lol!

I would be a fast zombie, but it have to be in a mirror free enviroment or I would scare myself to death.

I'd say red hot glowing rod shooter thingie. Either way, neither ant lion guard is very difficult to take down with regular firepower and physgun aided items, even on hard difficulty. The sidestepping weakness is pretty big.

Its very easy (you can use that cheat or add a single line in the source), but it has some flaws you need to fix as the game wasnt designed to be played in 3rd person.

Regarding that problem, try disabling the VPU recovery. Regarding the game, yeah its pretty good. Very pretty, very fast. Excellent interface.
