Well there is probably something wrong with your 4x system as the maximum performance increase of 8x over 4x is about 5%.

Performance wise therre is a negligible difference between 4x and 8x agp. (only 1 or 2 fps)

I think that is the one i have. Its a good psu, as its only $5 extra then go for it as it will make upgrading in the future easier as well.

The kingston ram wil probably out perform your current ram if its a generic brand so it will just slow down to the same speed so that they will work together.

If its Hiper they are a fairly decent brand. I have a hiper 520watt in my main rig and have had no problems with it. Go for it.

hmmm sounds like it is an unbranded psu which are generally a bad idea.

vivo means that the card has a video in/video out port on it and a theatre chip, however what makes it moddable is the fact that the x800pro vivos are in fact speed binned XTs which were unstable at XT speeds, so all you need to do is find the right bios, maybe get a bit of cooling onto the card...

6800gt is better than x800 in games like Doom3, in ther applications they are similar but GT has upper hand due to its extra 4 pipes. the x800pro vivo can easily be modded to an XT by flashing its bios (it MUST be a vivo) while most GTs can be clocked to Ultra clocks First benchmarks show...

Yeah, the x800 starts to get damaged at about 120c. Normal temps are about 45-55 idle and 65-75 under load. You have nothing to worry about.

No you shouldnt lose frames but if power is an issue the computer will become unstable and freeze, restart etc.
