Every employee would be implied in this:
once a light bulb burn, then the chief would change it personally, BUT will obligate everyone in the company to do the same.
So, he will send everyone a part of the new, improved light bulb via Steam, one part each weekend... when all the parts are...
I really don't have the time to follow each thread in the forum... and I don't follow this forum each day... so, I'm not aware of all the similar poll's anyone else has posted.
Please, forgive my ignorance.
In my :dork: opinion, we can expect something not much different than the latest multiplayer FPS games...
I believe that the wheel cannot be reinvented that many times...
When HL2 will finally come out (please note the sarcasm) which playmode would you try first?
I'll definitively go for single player... almost instantly! :naughty:
My point is not about how legitimate should be the Nov. 19h date...
I just meant to bring another "proof" to the attention of all (if we can call it a proof) of how november "seems" to be the most probable release month... at least in the retailer's circuit.
And I'm sure gamewarp.it will be...
This website, an on-line game retailer in Italy, reports the November 19th as the date of availabilty of Half Life 2....
Nothing to comment about it...
Just to keep you informed.
The "Release Candidate" process is a normal procedure...
Even companies like Micro$oft applies it to their products, but I think that they internally test each RC for sure.
Once, about 4 years ago or so, I've seen the "RC1" (release candidate 1) of Windows XP installed at one of my friend's...
28Mbit     !!!...
...and I thought my 640Kbit flies. ;(
The fastest connection you can get at home here is 10Mbit.... but is still uber expensive!!!...
But 1,2Mbit are slowly taking the place of sub-1Mbit ADSL...
Let's hope! :p
Well... I was wrong: you need to change eyes, in the end.
Don't get me wrong, don't want to be offensive, but... tell me, in your opinion, why do you think ATI and nVidia are developing their vid cards for what?... Why don't they stuck with their TNTs and RAGE PROs, and just be happy?
And...
Mmmmh.... don't want to go off-topic here but, I think you need to change monitor... or glasses... or both :dozey: ... if you can't tell the difference between 4xAA + 8XAF and not at whatever resolution, don't ya?
Well... Ok, I agree... It'll work *just* fine.
But surely not at the quality at which both games are intended to give the best entertaining experience.... and, sadly, not the quality they deserve to be played at.
infact.... I have myself an ADSL 640/320, and it cost me about US$ 22 /month.... and I'm pretty happy /w it.
To moderators: if you believe this thread is a little off-topic here, fell free to move it wherever you think it would be more appropriate....
Ok, I know you'll do it anyway :hmph:
I know this forum is about "Multiplayer & Steam" but this thread
http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=34635
in this same forum, pointed out a "problem" and led me to think about what follows.
In my country (Italy) we have free internet for dial-up and sometimes even 64k ISDN...
