This website, an on-line game retailer in Italy, reports the November 19th as the date of availabilty of Half Life 2.... Nothing to comment about it... Just to keep you informed.

The "Release Candidate" process is a normal procedure... Even companies like Micro$oft applies it to their products, but I think that they internally test each RC for sure. Once, about 4 years ago or so, I've seen the "RC1" (release candidate 1) of Windows XP installed at one of my friend's...

Well... Ok, I agree... It'll work *just* fine. But surely not at the quality at which both games are intended to give the best entertaining experience.... and, sadly, not the quality they deserve to be played at.
